Shift: Monday-Thursday 8:00am to 6:00pm or 9:00am to 7:00pm 
         Friday: 8:00am to 12:00pm or 9:00am to 1:00pm

FLSA Status: Exempt


Job Summary/Objective

This position is responsible for supporting the Warehouse function within the Supply Chain Department. This includes, managing inbound shipments of supply and drug products into the Warehouse and Pharmacy and working closely with the Supply Chain and Production to maintain inventory accuracy.  This person will also work with Production Technicians and provide immediate support to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of supply. 

 
  • Receiving and inputting drug and supply orders into inventory management systems
  • Ensure completion of accurate and timely ordering of packing material and shipping supplies for pharmaceuticals.
  • Assist in managing inbound shipments from packaging suppliers and product manufacturers
  • Processing Returns and damages on a daily basis.
  • Working closely with the Supply Chain Associate Director and off-site storage solutions to ensure adequate supply is on-site to support production
  • Occasionally, partnering with external vendors to support supply chain functions as needed.
  • Working closely with Production to replenish workstations with supply of packaging and product
  • Participates in weekly physical inventory of product and supply counts and annual physical inventories as needed.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and discretion in dealing with both internal and external customers
  • Provide support for Production’s operations as needed, including, but not limited to, picking, packing, or manifesting
  • Other projects as assigned
Skills
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or operations fields.
Skills/Qualifications
 
  • Prefer 3-5+ years of experience in a warehouse, inventory, or supplies management role, ideally in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field; minimum high school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Inventory control and purchasing skills
    1. Proficient in inventory controls, including inbound & outbound receipts and validation.
    2. Knowledgeable in shrink mitigation strategies.
    3. Familiar with pharmacy inventory systems and regulations.
  • Technical Skills
    1. Proficient in navigating systems, including agile project management and tracking software.
    2. Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proven experience in continuous improvement
  • Ability to work well under pressure, managing competing deadlines and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.  Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable employee to perform the essential job duties. Willing to be trained for forklift and/or electric pallet jack certification
