Job Summary/Objective
The Manager, SD Production Pharmacy will work closely with the Director, Operations to oversee all aspects of the Medvantx South Dakota Site production floor. This role will manage setting the department’s objectives including specific, measurable, action-oriented, realistic metrics. The principal responsibilities include implementing, and managing Medvantx production operations. This role will provide production support, training, and consistent and sustained relationship building processes to maximize our client and patient experience. This position will oversee direct reports and provide individual performance goals, coaching, and training of staff on new product/service rollouts.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage Production Team in all manager responsibilities including hiring, building, and developing a high performing team.
- Manage and provide support for Production operations, including, but not limited to, picking, packing, or manifesting. Follow-up on errors and technical issues, and any other items related to the production floor.
- Own daily, weekly and monthly results reporting related to production activities including productivity and quality metrics to leadership
- Oversee supervisor group to ensure scheduling of Production staff to optimize workflow efficiency
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve operations including, but not limited to, cost reduction, increased productivity and efficiency, increased capacity, quality improvement, enhanced service and shares best practices
- Manage, develop, and implement an ongoing training plan for the Production Team.
- Promotes and develops process enhancements and solutions to maximize department efficiencies. This will also require working closely with the quality and compliance teams.
- Monitor productivity to provide timely and in-depth feedback whether positive or constructive to improve on department goals.
- Manage employee performance with ongoing coaching and feedback, taking action when necessary.
- Coordinate with Pharmacist-In-Charge for initial and annual technician registrations
- Collaborates with other department leaders to further enhance the employee, client, and patient experience
- Provide consistent communication with the Customer Experience Managers to make necessary updates regarding product volume, shipping delays and concerns.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external clients demonstrating professionalism, courtesy, and discretion.
- Other projects as assigned.
Critical Skills /Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
- Pharmacy Technician License
- 5+ years in pharmacy and production environment
- 5+ years in a managerial position
- Leadership experience with the ability to hire, engage and motivate large teams
- Possesses strong leadership qualities with the ability to convey the company vision and engage, motivate, and inspire ownership from team members
- Data reporting, analysis
- Attention to detail
- Good time management practices
- Strong problem solving / analytical skills
- Strong collaborator
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written skills
- Demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, courtesy, and discretion in dealing with both internal and external customers

- Experience with process improvement methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
